I need some help with book recs because I've officially reached the point where I spend more time scrolling through Goodreads than actually picking my next read. 😭
Fair warning though... I'm a very picky reader.
Right now I'm looking for either:
🖤 A psychological thriller that will completely mess with my head.
💕 A romance series/book that'll have me emotionally attached for weeks.

Thrillers I've loved:
A Good Girl's Guide to Murder (the entire series)
Never Lie
The Silent Patient
Love, Mom
And Then There Were None

Romance books/series I've loved:
Windy City series
Pretty much anything by Lynn Painter
Beg, Borrow, or Steal
Breathe With Me (my favorite from the Playing for Keeps series)
The Love Hypothesis

A few things about my taste:
• I haven't really explored romantasy, and I don't plan on diving into it anytime soon.
• I'm not a fan of overly alpha, controlling, or possessive MMCs. Confidence? Yes. Walking red flag? Not so much. 😭
• I don't mind spice, but I'm not looking for books where every other chapter is basically smut. I like it when the romance and the story come first.
• Slow burn has my whole heart, but a well-done insta-love won't scare me away either.
• Enemies to lovers? Sign me up. Friends to lovers is great too... just not best friends to lovers (I don't know why, it's just never been my thing 😂).
• If it's a series with a found family, I'm probably already sold.
• For thrillers, I'm open to almost anything as long as it doesn't get too dark or emotionally draining. I love a good twist, but I don't want to be emotionally scarred by the end.
