okay so listen this is probably bad advice BUT during exam period is when I am most motivated to read, personally. it always happens like that: I'll be in a reading slump for months barely reading and then once exams kick in and my life gets stressful again suddenly all I can think about is reading. so I would say make a study plan and on your free time try reading. BUT if you feel like you dont care about the story that much, you dont feel like reading that right now better dnf guilt free and start a new book. dont force yourself to finish a book if you dont want to! and who knows maybe you'll pick it up again in the future.

Omg I feel the same, because last exam season I finished a book over 24 hours because I was desperate to read 🤣, thank you so much for the advice 💞

if it comes to it, dnf, but otherwise read whenever you can.. i feel like you should have something to do as a break from exams or whatevet soo..

I havent read the emperyan series (haha i dont know what its called) but if it's sad or so, i would personally read something easier because if my head is full with studying stuff, i need something to relax... but idk if thats just me

Whenever I’m struggling to read a book I do feel like I want to continue reading, I make myself read a certain amount of it every day (usually one or two chapters) while simultaneously reading something else that I’m more motivated to read, maybe that could work for you too. Or try to find the audiobook for Iron Flame (free with a Spotify subscription for example).

So is say js make a pause with Iron Flame (it want sooo good tbh) After that, mby start the book you are the most motivated to read. Not a book that you have to read or a book you need to read to continue a series but a book youre actually looking forward to (btw suggestion: Zodiac Academy) if you dont have one, go to the bookstore and look for a book that interests you there. If you dont find it here, reread an old one you loved. Remember: reading isnt a competition, its a hobby you can always pause. Nobody will judge you💕

Okay so I think you should js go with the flow. Like if Iron Flame isn't really intriguing you rn just put it down for a bit and pick it back up later. It IS one hell of a book but so worth it I promise!
