Actually my favorite cake:
strawberry cake (not from a box) with cheese cake icing.

Also, the reverse is wonderful too--cheesecake batter, then make strawberry icing with real strawberries or raspberry icing with real raspberries

as someone who isnt a chocolate lover, Vanilla always but might I say i prefer carrot cake or cherry chip with cream cheese frosting

red velvet with cream cheese frosting is the best, but i’m not a huge fan of cake tbh…..i feel like the frosting is always overdone :(
