history: not sure if this is what ur looking for, but nadine brandes has some insanely good historical fictions!! Romanov and Fawkes by her are like historical fiction but with a really creative fantasy twist and they’re some of my favorite books ever. both have triggered insane hyper fixations on my part bc i am a history nerd and also love fantasy, so i recommend them to literally everyone.
fantasy: sky of seven colors by rachelle nelson, and wishtress by nadine brandes r both very good, and not widely known so they would make good recs.
mystery: and then there were none, agatha christy

romantasy: i think caraval might be romantasy??? i’m not sure, i haven’t read it lol im having trouble thinking of one.
thriller: the Beacon Hill trilogy i believe is a christian thriller and i liked it a lot but it’s been a while since i’ve read it <33 hope this helps :]
