As a Christian (I support lgbtq trust) ik a lot of people who would take that as somewhat offensive. In their perspective some people just feel uncomfortable about the topic, hence not really supporting it. You did nothing wrong! You asked a perfectly fine question, but they could have just felt triggered, which isn’t really the right word but it’s the best I can think of. Just know it’s not your fault, it’s just their beliefs🫶🏾💖 if you need to talk more I’m here!!💗

i’m assuming this person didn’t support lgbt+ because of their religion or some sort and the question must’ve made them uncomfortable? honestly this just means you don’t have to be around someone possibly homophobic

I'm a Christian who doesn't support LGBTQ+, but I can't say why they would've blocked you. I can see why it might've made them uncomfortable, but I can easily say that it would've been no problem for me, at least, to happily respond to your question to give you the information you needed. If they were a Christian who didn't support LGBTQ+, I'd assume that they thought that you did support it, and didn't want lots of updates clashing with their beliefs. However, I believe everything you did was reasonable and normal, so don't feel bad.
