Classic Hollywood...you have to watch the 1938 Robin Hood with Errol Flynn, and the film "Laura" (just to start).
I also love shows with Christian undertones, like Hallmark's "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" TV show and movie series, and "Doc" and "Sue Thomas FBI" from the early 2000s.

The only rec I have is horror so..... M3GAN it's so good

All my recs would be older or military-related so . . . 🫠 but as far as tv shows I'd say Liberty's Kids for America 250 or the 80s A&E Wind in the Willows series for smth cute and cozy.
Re movies . . . I actually don't watch very many . . . maybe one of the old movies with Elvis in it? 🤷‍♀️ I've seen Jailhouse Rock which has a sorta slow-burn romance, but parts of it get a little boring IMHO, and I actually don't really like the character Elvis plays 😆
Will ALWAYS recommend the movies by Little Crew Studios (Runner From Ravenshead, Defense of New Haven, and Return to New Haven) - they're a Christian family and all the roles are played by the kids. VERY good themes and they're adorable (and good quality for a single-family effort!)

Okay, for mystery, I love Psych (it's really funny, too), White Collar, and The Mentalist (if you want a little more "thriller"-esc). All of them have underlying or side romance plots.
I ADORE You've Got Mail. While You Were Sleeping is kinda fun. My Big Fat Greek Wedding is also really funny, but there's a kinda "fade-to-black"-ish scene.
That Thing You Do! is one my favorite random movies. I love Enola Holmes (mainly the first one), and Damsel is also awesome. Twilight is cheesy, stupid, but nostalgic and fun.

1995 Pride and Prejudice!! Clean and AMAZING!! Also if you have Disney plus watch the Bad Batch (both shows are on Disney Plus :)
