'a good girl's guide to murder' is definitely a given one! very fast paced and thrilling ! for some ya romance i'd probably recommend lynn painter, like 'better than the movies' ! it absolutely has the vibes 🌷 i haven't read any ya fantasy, but i think 'the prison healer' is a famous one! a lot of my closest friends love it <3 'the inheritance games' is also a really good ya mystery, and i haven't read it myself, but based on literally everyone else on goodreads, 'the naturals' also by jennifer lynn barnes should be great 🧩 a little more emotional recommendation is 'the way i used to be', which is about a young girls journey going through a deep trauma. i'll literally never stop recommending 'the way i used to be' and i genuinely think it is a book everyone should read. checking tws before is important i think though! and one of my favourite books of all time (god i almost missed this) is 'we were liars'...i know what you might think — it's not rated highly, but if im being honest, i have no idea how. because 'we were liars' felt like a fever dream combined with a heartbreak for me, and i was in for that ride. i wasn't ready for the ending though, the plot twists are insane 🤕 tw may or may not be important to check there, too. the show is also very good, and id recommend watching it after reading the book <3 so that's my ya recommendations! i hope it helps! i'll invite people also 💌

Hmm I have several YA books in my finished shelf if you want to check it out! Conveniently, I can’t remember any of them lol. I only read clean book so you won’t find any spice in my finished books.

ok well most of them that I had to recommend were already commented but I would recommend One Dark Window because it has mystery, romance and fantasy all in one

Romance: PLEASE READ STARGIRL AND FLIPPED BUT HEAVY ON STARGIRL!!!!! It is amazing I’m telling you the end of the book made me cry and that’s all I’m gonna say but read it. Flipped is such a cute romance I’ve reread it twice and I love everything about it.
Mystery: now the thing is I love mystery but a lot of mystery has obvi some sexual romance subplots and that’s not my vibe and def not my parents vibe either (literally can’t agggtm until I’m 17 😓) so I don’t have a lot of recommendations for you. There’s a book I want to try it’s called Every Last Liar by Kate Francis. I can also recommend a movie called searching since I have no book recommendations.
Fantasy: ok so this genre I’m in the same situation as with the mystery one ( nit allowed to read the cruel prince until I’m 17) so I also don’t have a lot to recommend BUT last year I read a fantasy series and it was amazing. The first book is called The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielsen and I LOOOOVED it so def would recommend. Anyways while I was reading the reviews a review said that this other series is also really similar and it’s called The Queens Thief series. So now I want to read that series this year and I’m recommending it to you.
Anyways that’s all I have to give but I was trying to recommend books that maybe you haven’t heard of. Happy reading 💕💕

Caraval: It is like a magical game where you have to find clues to win, and there is a cute, mysterious guy helping you out
The Raven Boys: It has a lot of cool magic and ghosts, and it is about a group of friends solving a big secret together
The Inheritance Games: It is a really fast and fun story about a girl living in a huge house with secret doors, riddles, and a love triangle
