Soooo I personally haven't read too many emotional recs myself but i have heard someee really good things about Heartless by Marissa Meyer!! No spice (like her other books I've read!) <33

You’ve reached Sam and If He Had Been With Me are both sooo sad so I do recommend it! If He Had Been With Me does have one spicy scene (it’s not that bad) but it can easily be skipped over! AND HEARTLESS OML. that book broke me😔💔😭🥺 I definitely recommend Heartless by Marissa Meyer, and dare I say that it’s also a clean romance🤭💗
The last Letter by Rebecca Yarros (its a liiiiiiiitle overwrought, but I actually enjoyed it. And trust, it's pretty spicy)
