My favorite hands down, is Persuasion. It's shorter compared to her other books, and was the first Jane Austen novel I read. I highly recommend. Some other good classics that I love are Anne of Green Gables, Little Women, and Wuthering Heights
Pride and Prejudice is a great place to start, but if you want other classics Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery and Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte are also great books! Emma is a great story, but the actual book felt very slow and boring. I haven’t read the other Jane Austen novels but I’ve heard good things about Persuasion! Wuthering Heights is also not bad, though it is a bit confusing for your first classic. I also love Gone With the Wind (it is a bit racist, but it is still a great book)

Other classics that are really good and perfect to start out with are Jane Eyre, The Great Gatsby, The Picture of Dorian Gray, and The Man Who Was Thursday: A Nightmare
