Depends on there relationship tbh if he/she is acting like there partners then I think that is it and yes No you don't have too eb dating to go on a date like my friends always go out for lunch dates but you have to look at your situation that your currently in and assesse the situation is he/she taking you out on a romantic date or a friend date (hope this helps)

Ok so for me personally, I’m a bit old fashion and think that the boy should always ask the girl to be his gf before he starts calling her that. There should at least be a conversation about what they consider their relationship to be so that there’s no miscommunication. So, no, you’re not automatically bf/gf if you’re dating. I don’t think you have to be dating to go on a date though. Not me personally, but I know plenty of people who would go on a date with someone just to get to know them and see if they’d work together.
