Anyone have any thriller recommendations?
I’ve read the housemaid, the housemaid’s secret, the reappearance of Rachel price, the good girls guide to murder series, the first two books in the naturals series and five survive most recently but want to try out more books within the thriller genre, any suggestions or recommendations with great suspense and twists????

I mean, you've read the housemaid which is by Frieda McFadden, but I just love her cuz she's a good author. My fav book by her is The Intruder, and Ward D

“Truly Devious” by Maureen Johnson. It is Young Adult. I think that it is going to be a lot like “A Good Girl’s Guide to a Murder”. Or “Watch Us Fall” by Christina Kovac.
The Ending Writes Itself - just released two days ago, is coauthored by VE Schwab and another author. I'm reading currently, supposed to be like a homage to Agatha ChristieGood Intentions by Marisa Walz - I read the ARC and it was really good, but the MC is very twisted in the head
Basically any book by Gillian Flynn, but Dark Places is good if you can tolerate that basically every character is a garbage sack of a human being
14 by Peter Clines - one of my favorite books of all time, would call it a heavy scifi mystery/thriller
Want more? I can keep going 🙃🙃🙃
I enjoy this genre but don't tend to read very widely in it.I don't know if you have ever read Fingersmith by Sarah Waters or The Art of the Lie by Laura Shepherd-Robinson. They are both historical novels but have great twists.
OH I can't help myself, I have more !But Won't I Miss Me by Tiffany Tsao - comes out next month. Has a really good twist. The second half will totally change your opinion of the first half
The Last Contract of Isako by Fonda Lee - out next month. NOT technically a thriller. It is a heavy scifi, but it's so good and the twists in this book will give you WHIPLASH. I have been recommending this book to anyone that even passes by my house lmao
The Break-Up Retreat by Camilla Sten - honorable mention, 3 star read for me but very classic paint by numbers, low stakes thriller. Easy read
The Merge by Grace Walker - dystopian scifi, but huge twist ending that will knock you on your ass
ok I am done :)
I recommend any Natasha Preston book. She has easy writing but insane plot twist and I love her books. Plus a lot of them aren’t that expensive.
I love anything by Gillian McAllister. Her books are thriller/mystery with some emotional touch. Some of the books I loved by her: Wrong place wrong time, just another missing person, and Famous last wordsAlso, I recommend Not quite dead yet by Holly Jackson.
Hope this helps <3
The Eddie Flynn series by Steve Cavanagh is an amazing legal thriller series and each book can be read as a standalone. I would recommend reading Thirteen first :)
I love the Jack Reacher series by Lee Child, The Chemist by AA Dhand was a good read, Karin Slaughter (although, she is very graphic)...
The Only One Left - Riley SagerThe book tells the story of a caregiver who goes to work for the infamous Lenora Hope, who lives isolated in a seaside mansion, decades after being accused of killing her own family.

Thirteen has to be read first (to understand), but Witness 8 is SUCH A GOOD THRILLER

Yep, the author does a great job at introducing the characters to new readers but it would be definitely be more enjoyable if the series is read from the start!
How to kill a guy in ten dates - Shailee Thompson; This one felt like I was watching a scary movie without having to hide behind my hands😅Listen for the lie - Amy Tintera; has to be audiobook though
The kind worth killing series - Peter Swanson; I really enjoyed these and they were a fun thriller
The silent patient - Alex Michaelides; It’s pretty slow and a little boring in the beginning but just push through and it gets better. The plot twist was really good
The fear - Natasha Preston; all her books are good but this one is by far one of my favorites!!
Suddenly a Murder, Very dangerous things - both by Lauren Muñoz. Also Dead below Deck was quite good!
I love thrillers, but they're not all created equal. I just finished David Ellis' "Look Closer".... it was really well written and a great read... def not a quick Frieda read. I also like anything by Steena Holmes. She's very good.
And if you like techno thrillers then there's Mark Nadon. I'm currently reading his latest release THE TREATMENT ROOM
I writer domestic suspense... not 'thrillers' per se but thrilling and twisty all the same. Dark and relatable. Called: INSIDE OUTSIDE.
I'll have another coming out in the next couple of months
Enjoy the read!
