I think technically it is, cause it’s something shoved between bread, but now that I’m thinking about it, isn’t a sandwich something that you put stuff between TWO pieces of bread? In that case no, because a hotdog is only one piece of bread that splits…idk if that made any sense at all, lolll, just my thought process😂😂😂 but when I think of a hotdog it’s pretty much just in it’s own category…lol

If it's anything it's closer to toast as unhinged as that sounds lmao. Because it's technically only one piece of bread not two, a sandwich has to be something between two pieces of bread. Perhaps you could argue about it being a taco? But I think it's in its own category because if you were ordering food you wouldn't say sandwich or toast or taco or whatever, you would have to say hotdog to get a hotdog.
