We love a good 24 hour readathon always lol. AND different book recs. And cute clips with audiobook sounds
I would love to see reading challenges like “I read all of ____ in 24 hours!” or something like that. Also, definitely focus on popular series to start out- that’ll hook ppl. But don’t forget to sneak in books that basically no one has ever read! I love watching book vids where I find rly good recs that I would have never found otherwise! Best of luck!!!💗

So I use CapCut or just the YouTube short creation thing (I don’t know what it’s called). And then you can add some music on CapCut but if you saved the video with no sound, then before uploading, Theres a button where you can pick any song. Hopefully some of that made sense 😅. Also, I would like to see some Christian content maybe?
i would love reading vlogs, book/outfit/drink of the day, recommendations specific ones tho, tbr challenges, book hauls, bookish things to ask for birthdays/christmas, book boyfriends tier ranking, book trope tier rankingIf you need help with anything I would love to help you out!!! <3 Good Luck!
Hiya!! As someone who is friend with book content snap creators, the type of content I love to see include (but not limited to):- Book suggestions (high on this one!!)
- Bookshelf upgrades!!
- Book merch!! (yes guys ik I love seeing this!!)
- Reading Vlogs/challenges
- Relatable book memes!!!
Other than that, I am here to support you and good luck with your channel!!
ALSO QUESTION!Is it illegal to use copyrighted songs in YouTube shorts? I see ppl do it all the time but I don’t want to do something illegal or unethical. I know you can’t use them in long form videos
AND THANKS Y’ALL! Def taking notes ;)
I actually have a little YouTube channel! I’ve had it for a couple months. One thing you definitely need to do is not force yourself to make videos. It should be something fun for you! And also, if you ever put your face or voice in a video, you will definitely find yourself cringe. I 100% do and it’s awful lol but you just have to push through and know that people will appreciate it!! Also, I’d love to see maybe like a “timing how long it takes me to read a chapter of…”
so advice is to have like soft music in the bg u dont need to show ur face
comment on other ppls videos to gain friends on yt
dont post what ppl want u to post, post what u want to post
uhhh and yeah
i’ve been using capcut to edit for years and i love it so much!! highly recommend. once u get the hang of things its sm fun. to add music (on capcut) screen record the song you’d want to use. then go to your video, click audio (the little bar under your video clips) and click extract audio. then go to the little tab that looks like a file and select ur video. click extract and you’ll have ur music :)
I’m not a creator, but I’ve used CapCut a couple times and it’s really nice and easy(: I’d probably wanna see book recommendations or something like “if you like this movie, you like this book!” Type stuff. And ofc if it’s funny and relatable I’ll enjoy it!Once you post a video you should share it so I can subscribe to you!!! Good luck, I can’t wait😊
Oh yeah Emily! I am writing scripts for my future channel too! In a few months I'll get the device to film with. I love Library of a Viking and Captured in Words. Go check them out! DON'T FORGET YOUR NEWBIE TAG!!!!! 😊
I enjoy seeing character studies, or talking about how fictional worlds are designed and if they'd work in real life. (I love over-analyzing characters and character arcs, and also enjoy watching things like that!)A good editing program is corel video studio. You do have to pay for it, but it works well. It even comes with fonts and copyright free background music and stuff.
Ahhh, this is so exciting! I have a bookstagram/author profile, and I want to start a YouTube channel sometime this month! I would LOVE to watch anything you post, and I agree with Finch and Explauren's content suggestions!

DONT WORRY ABT CRINGE STUFF!! If it doesn’t make you cringe tooooo muchhh then it’ll be ok. You judge yourself more than everyone else does, remember that!
Bookish vlogs are always fun!! I’m so excited for you and I’ll be praying for you and this exciting new chapter!!!!! 😆🫂🩷
book recs, book challenges like kinda for ex vlogging a challenge where you read a book for each genre on a wheel spinner picker idk, book and character aesthetics (edits), songs that remind you of a book, bookshelf organizing (like a grwm but with bookshelf) book annotating vlogs, book memes for sure, posting book theories

if you use the songs straight in the create button on youtube or shorts then it’s fine, just usually don’t edit it in
Book recs fs 👏👏I also love when booktubers do like voice overs from random things and make them about bookish situations . . . if that makes any sense 😭 anyway yeah those always make me laugh and are so relatable lol
I would recommend CapCut for editing! It’s has fun templates and a lot of cool features. For video ideas 24 hour readathons, bookish vlogs, and bookish hot takes are fun! I also love when ppl do videos recommending books based on ppls favorite songs, movies, etc.
Oooo maybe some reading challenges and focusing on one series for one video. I KNOW YOURE GONNA COOK WITH YOUR CHANNEL
ooh I'll definitly subscribe if you decide to make a channel, but I would LOVE to see like book rec videos, and readathon videos or like reading challenges. For YouTube shorts, you could do like all of the books I read this month, or book recs, things like that. For sounds, the YouTube shorts have a lot of sounds to use. I would use capcut to edit your vids and capcut has a lot of copywright free music you can use

No, it's not; you can use copyrighted music, but you won't make money from it. 15sec-60sec videos can use them no problem, but anything longer than that can't, sometimes you can, but the money made from that will be split 45% with the artist. (ik all this because I used to have a channel myself).
For making videos, you can just record with your phone camera (or computer) and edit with CapCut! It's so easy to use for beginners (they have many free templates too), and there are plenty of tutorials on YouTube if you need help. You can always upgrade to better editing software later. For thumbnails, you can use CapCut, but I personally recommend Canva.
One tip I have is be consistent, but don't force yourself to make videos. try making books hauls, TBRs/ monthly wrap-ups, reviews, etc... Good luck, and I hope you become very successful! <3
Oh my goodness I’m so excited, Emily!!!! Can’t wait to see it, but for actual content, anything books, maybe Bible study things, recs, just do things you love! Anything you do I will watch!! <333
