Werner Personally, I try to allot time for reading every day, and don't really take breathers from it. Of course, if I'm committed to starting a particular book or books in just about a week (as I understand you are?), then in the meantime, I would just pick a short book to read, or maybe pick a book of stories or poems that could be partially read until you start the other read, and then picked up again when the latter is over. (Of course, you generally do read fairly short books, and you can go through them faster than I typically can.)

That said, what I would do isn't necessarily what you should do, since we're different people with different circumstances, etc. You're the only one who can decide what will work best for you! :-)

Phrodrick slowed his growing backlog The fact that you asked, makes one suppect that you already know the answer.

🤭🤭 Are you allergic to actually voting on polls, Phrodrick?
You mever vote but you always comment. 😂

I don't know the answer though.. I'm floundering between the poll options.. Ergo, why I asked the question..

Thanks, Werner!! 💙

Tammie P ℓօรƭเɳαɓօօҡ If you are exhausted and at risk of reader burnout, clear your book palette. If you are feeling energized by the books you have been reading and don’t want to kill the momentum, keep reading. If you want to keep reading but without the mental tax or brain fog, read another quickie book. So, my answer really is: do what you want based on how you are feeling.
