Pen ink isn't sterile, so if it gets super red or smth, hot,. you have to tell your mom regardless because you'll need a doctor. ¯\(°_o)/¯As for your mom ehhhhhhhh honestly?¿¿?
It’s usually better to tell her yourself than for her to find it later. If you go to her and say 'I made a huge mistake huhu' she might be mad, BUT (i mean maybe depending on the type of mom that your mom is, i dunno anythen abut ur mom) mom will be moms and still care. Don't try to hide it too long (╥﹏╥) it'll look more suspiciousss, i mean eventually she'll know abut itt¿¿¿ So i think (maybe) jus tell her before she finds it out herself and be like 'why u hidin that grr'
make sure you sterilize the needle and all other materialssterilize the spot you plan on tattooing
do NOT go too deep
put it in a place your parents won't find it (upper thigh, foot, anywhere on your torso, etc.)
watch tutorials beforehand
have an idea of what you wanna do and maybe draw it on so you have a guideline/stencil
and while pen ink isn't recommended, it is still possible to do it safely!:)
