tbh i don't like it bc its a way for society to pressure people into a certain way society should be. also its a great money-maker for some industries which is partially why it's a holiday and why the decorations are put out starting the day after christmas.

yh I agree with u tbh, it also makes single people feel lonely on valentines day (I speak from experience) 💔

I think its fun, I love to give gifts so its just another reason to give gifts to my girls, and someday my man. and its full of pink and bows and they're the best

I like having it as a holiday! Even before I started dating, it was always a family tradition to give valentines to my parents and brothers and they would give them to me. And even to this day, we always have a big valentines day feast full of special food.

I think it's a wonderful thing to have a day celebrating one of the most beautiful things in this world; love. And not just love for significant others, but for family and friends

I think it’s just a way to show love to others!!! I love thinking of gifts and having both men and women but especially men like my brothers or father get me something. It’s just so sweet. And I love getting cute heart like things for my mom! I adore this holiday and it’s just so beautiful for women to be spoiled by those they love and for women to spoil men if they want to and each other

I feel like it promotes consumerism and it also just really makes single people feel lonely.

No because I’m single. It will 100% change as soon as I have a guy 😅

yes but its so far removed from what it used to be. i think it should be a day to remember all forms of love and to remember your loved ones.

but today is only focussed on romantic love, making people feel lonely or putting too much pressure on people who are in relationships, and waaaaayyyy to much consemerism (true for any holiday though)
