I'm little confused here about the book genre you want to read but I will recommend something cozy. Bookshops and bonedust or Legends and Lattes.
Hi! Here are a couple of fast-paced/light/feel-good/heart-warming books I've personally enjoyed:- Half a Soul: short, light fantasy, some romance and loveable characters. It's a series of interconnected standalones each following a different couple so you can simply read book 1, you won't be commiting to a new series.
- Funny Feelings: I remember binge-reading this book in 2 days. It was short, fast-paced and I connected with the characters. It was a cute, fun time.
- Get a Life, Chloe Brown: funny, good representation, realistic characters, fast-paced and a bit emotional. This is also an interconnected standalone series, each book follows a sister.
- Lonely Castle in the Mirror: one of my all time favorite books. Coming-of-age, found family, magical realism.
- If You Could See the Sun: YA, romance and magical realism. Short, fast-paced and I personally loved the FMC and MMC.
- Last Night at the Telegraph Club: I know this isn't the shortest but if you like Ann Liang's books, I think you will like this. It's a beautiful coming-of-age queer romance.
- The Henna Wars: this is a super cute and fun YA queer romance. I loved the two FMC personalities and their banter.
