if a romantasy book was set in the 2000s, the era of glitz and glam, how would u feel about some fashion brands being mentioned in the book (often people dislike modern-day references)?

the only reason i wouldn’t like modern day references (esp in fantasy) is that it kind of takes you out of the story, but i’d see no problem with it if it’s not too “in your face” if ykwim. like a few small mentions here and there would be okay!! (and knowing you, i know you’d do it right so it would work fs)
