Ghada Zain My favourite reads of this year have been :

The will of the many,
The housemaid and the housemaid’s secret.

message 14: by ☆Johanna☆ (new)

☆Johanna☆ I really loved the once upon a broken heart and Caraval trilogy, it’s so whimsical, full of plot twists and easy to read. I can definitely also recommend the six of crows duology which really matches the mysterious dark autumn vibe.
The twin crown series is also really great and totally underrated.
The serpent snd the wings of night is also a great romantasy!!

Florence The last books that got me out of a reading slump where the Acotar series. Also The rebel blue ranch series by Lyla sage pulled me in, I read it soooo fast!

message 20: by abby (new)

abby hill ꕥ five survive by holly jackson (standalone) or the naturals by jennifer lynn barnes (series). despite it being a four book series barnes’ books are SOOOO fast paced and never ever boring, so perfect for getting out of a slump!

message 21: by sara ۫ ꣑ৎ (new)

sara ۫ ꣑ৎ a good thriller always does it for me! I recommend something by Freida McFadden or the alibis collection, it's a series of short novellas, really short and easy to go through :)

Renee’s bookshelf (the smiths version) Anything by Abby Jimenez tbh- all of her books are easy reads (although say you remember me is too sad to be fun lol)

✶ ✶ Hummingbird ✶ ✶ Girl. I was in a 6-10 month long reading slump. I’m primarily a romance reader, I find pivoting my genre when I’m in a reading slump pulls me out of it. I used to read dark romance, fantasy with romance etc, all of it.

I started reading a deadly education by Naomi Novik and I found it so fun! I’m 89% through and I’m already ready for book 2. If you still want romance but not too romance heavy try stalking Jack the Ripper.

Otherwise embrace your slump. Nothing wrong with it. Try manhwa, manga etc or a new TV show ♥️
