Idk if you’ve watched this but the anime is called 86 it’s the best anime I’ve ever watched I definitely recommend

i can only speak on the manga that i've read since i dont rlly watch anime but here are my recs!!!
- toilet-bound hanako-kun (action/fantasy, wonderful characters - you WILL get attached)
- witch hat atelier (literally one of the best fantasys out there, beautiful found family and insane magic system)
- the girl from the other side (the lesser talked about one out of all of these, more lowkey but still a very impactful fantasy story, less action)

Solo leveling!!! It’s SOOOO GOOD.

- jujutsu kaisen (it’s a shonen with great characters)
- banana fish (really good but soooo sad)
- saiki k. (it’s so funny and just really fun like nobody takes anything seriously)

@maddy i've seen the first episode of 86, but then i sadly ended up dropping it. i wouldn't mind giving it another chance since that was a while ago, but i already know how it ends. 😔

@mahnoor so.... about vinland saga..... i promise i tried watching and reading it SOOO many times, but i just cannot get myself to continue it no matter what. i just don't think it's my type of story. 😭

86, charlotte, mob psycho 100, kaiju no.8, parasyte, Angel beats, devil‘s line and Noragami. I loved all of the these and they are action/fantasy!!

@a_paige AYYYEEE. i'm an og reader, i started reading solo leveling when there were only 30-40 chapters published and then when i found out it was getting an anime!!! i still haven't watched the anime because i wasn't sure if it will live up to my expectations, but maybe i should give it a try. 🫣

@skylar i watched the first season of jjk when it first came out but then i became a manga reader so i haven't watched the other season bc my brain doesn't like watching after reading. i have seen banana fish (depressing stuff). but i've never seen saiki k so i'll give it a try! ☺️

@leona AH PLS KAIJU NO.8!!! I STARTED READING THE MANGA AFTER SEASON 1 BC I JUST NEED IT INJECTED INTO MY BODY. i heard about the others as well but i've never seen them bc low key intimidated by some of them. i'm scared they will either be too dark for my liking or they will make me cry... 🫠

- kami-sama no iu toori ni (and prequel if you want but it’s not as good imo): action, survival game, lgbt rep
- liar game: psychological thriller, game theory
- happy ending.: sci-fi, time travel, horror
- happiness: vampires, emotional
- tomodachi game: survival game, action
- kakeguri: gambling, game theory, psychological
- mieruko-chan: comedy-horror, ghosts/spirits, minor lgbt rep

Fairy Tail - both anime and manga
Hellsing Ultimate - both anime and manga
Vampire Hunter D - Has 2 animated movies, but it is light novels.
Case Study of Vanitas - Both anime and manga.
Another - Horror short anime, there is 3 light novels and manga.
Ancient Magus's Bride - Both manga and Horror
The Girl from the Otherside - brilliant and super underrated.
Moriarty the Patriot - Based on Sherlock Holmes action packed and couldn't get enough of it. The manga is a bit darker than the Anime.
07 Ghost - Watched it a long time ago, but it still had an impact.
Knights of the Zodiac (Saint Seiya) not the netflix series. The original. (Manga is sadly out of print.) - One of my favourite classics.

I hope you enjoy them 😁 I just noticed my fingers were faster than my brain. Ancient Magus's Bride is a fantasy-semi darkish not Horror😅 ooo one more - Rozen Maiden, I feel this is also underrated.

@rebel fairy thank you! but now that you mentioned it. i’m not a big fan of horror, dark, psychological, thriller, etc. type of mangas but i’ll still give them a try bc maybe i’ll enjoy it!
