Under the Eye of the Big Bird by Hiromi Kawakami it is for our April group read. The English translation is by Asa Yoneda. I believe there is a Norwegian translation also.Squeaking into second place for May is Strange Pictures by Uketsu, English translation is by Jim Rion. It is also widely translated in at least 10 languages. Let us know if you are reading in Japanese or a translated language other than English.
