pleaseeee welcome to fae cafe it's perfect for fall!

The Way of Kings is sooooo long, and I just read it.

I don't like the cover for The Goose Girl. (🤭) I also don't love fairytale retellings.

I just read some reviews for and didn't see great things about the content in An Enchantment of Ravens.

That leaves Fae Cafe!! That's my vote, and like Bella said, it's perfect for fall.💜

ive read an enchantment of ravens and its mostly clean. there is one brief part where they talk abt spice except they dont use that word for it... but its ez to skip over.

It’s always amazing to me how the poll differs so much from the nominations/seconds. But I hope that isn’t true this time.🙃

For those wondering about the content in An Enchantment of Ravens...

There are a few swear words at the beginning, which feel really out of place, but after the first handful of chapters, there's no more language. There are also a few brief mature comments.

The romance is definitely one of the cleaner romances that I've seen in secular fantasy, with just one part where the kissing gets a little intense (though not explicit), and the couple does sleep in the same bed at one point, though nothing happens.

There's also a scene where the MC is briefly under an enchantment, and when she' turned back, she's not wearing anything, and all the people in the room can see her. It doesn't last that long before she's rushed off to get dressed, though, if I remember correctly. So it and the other scenes I mentioned are easily skipped and skimmed.

I think that's all the content, though I'd certainly recommend looking at other reviews and asking other readers just to make sure, as it's been a bit since I read the book and I likely don't remember everything.

I don't know what to choose! I tried Way of Kings but didn't get past the first paragraph. I think I've read The Goose Girl, but it wasn't memorable.

Way of Kings is too much of a commitment for me rn, and Goose Girl looks kinda boring, ngl. So I hope one of the other two wins. Or maybe I shouldn't, because it would be easier to pass if say, Goose Girl wins, and I have a lot of reading pans this month...
