Poll
Happy September, everyone! It's one of my favorite times of year here at The 52 Book Club -- it's time to vote on prompts for next year!
Each Monday in September we will open the polls and vote on a specific prompt for our 2025 challenge. (Be sure to sign up for emails on our website so you don’t miss it!) Each week we'll be voting on a different prompt, and each vote will contain ten different options to choose from.
Vote for your favorite option. Pick the option you’d most like to see on the 2025 challenge. Each week, you have up to three chances to vote. Once in the Facebook group, once in the Goodreads group, and once on Instagram.
Once the poll closes, results will be tallied across all three socials (Facebook, Goodreads, and Instagram.) Each weekly poll will be open from Monday until Sunday, closing at 9 p.m. PT. The TOP TWO picks for each week will be named finalists and entered into the final running for the 2025 challenge.
In October, the winning prompts will be randomly drawn from each of our two weekly finalists. This will take place LIVE on YouTube on Saturday, October 5th at 4 PM Pacific Time. The four winning prompts from that live draw will appear on the 2025 challenge.
WEEK ONE: SEPTEMBER 2 - 8
"RELATED TO THE WORD..."
This week we're voting for the 2025 prompt, "Related to the word..."
For the winning prompt, you'll choose a book that is somehow associated with or related to the winning word. The word can be connected to the title, cover design, theme, plot, characters, author, etc. There are some unique words in the running for 2025, so regardless of the winning word, this prompt will be an opportunity to get creative!
We can't wait to see what inspires you!

Thank you 🙂
I chose 'Dust' since there are so many possibilities! It could be a fantasy like "Stardust", a historic fiction or nonfiction about the Dust Bowl (1930-1936) in the US, a horror or other book about death (...ashes to ashes, dust to dust...), a book about housekeeping, or it could be a western with someone wearing a duster coat on the cover. And I'm sure many more! 😍
Thanks everyone for voting. Our week one polls are now closed! Votes will be tallied across all three socials and our top two words will be announced soon -- so stay tuned for that! We'll be voting on a new poll tomorrow, so check back soon. :)

Week one’s results are in! We’ve tallied the polls across Facebook, Instagram, and Goodreads for our week one prompt, “Related to the word…” and our two finalists are…
First place: PUZZLE
Second place: QUEEN
While PUZZLE was the very clear first-place winner this week, there was a close battle for second! QUEEN snuck into that second-place spot by just over twenty votes! Both of these words will go into our random draw in October, and one will be picked LIVE as prompt 48 on our 2025 challenge!
The remaining results in descending order were: Wanderlust (3rd), Apocalyptic (4th), Macabre (5th), Nefarious (6th), Kismet (7th), Opulence (8th), Dust (9th), and Intergalactic (10th).
