Same goes with Fake dating only contemporary romances can do it right in my opinion.

I’ve literally only read fantasy’s that are series I can’t think of a standalone 😭😭

Since like people mix writing Enemies to Lovers to Hate to Love kind of trope you know. Like with the book The Spanish Love Deception or basically any contemporary romance. Unless it is Mafia or a dark Romance then that case sometimes it can be good.
Slow burn Enemies to Lovers all the way, but even better when it alternates.
I had a hard time picking between brother's best friend and academic rivals. I chose academic rivals :D
