These ar excellent authors, I just checked out The Paris Vendetta.
Although these are all excellent author's I have to go for Steve Berry.

I'd vote for Eddings (since he is made of epic win), but I've read just about everything he's written...and I haven't read The Handmaid's Tale since high school.

There are two that I am not a big fan of (but not going to debate it.)
Personally I love The Handmaid's Tale - though for the record the movie was horrid. Strangely, this is the only book by Atwood that I really liked.
My secondary choice would be Evanovich.
