Renegades
A girl good guide to murder
Powerless
Happy Place"
I agree with agggtm! And the inheritance games and powerless sound good! So I agree with recommending those too!

These sound really good! I’m so excited 😆

I Kissed Shara Wheeler by Casey McQuinston. I haven’t quite finished it but it’s good so far!
Gwen & Art Are Not in Love by Lex Croucher. Absolutely phenomenal. Historical fiction — set in Arthurian times. Words cannot describe how much I enjoyed this book.
I’m also big into dystopian novels. Anthem by Ayn Rand and Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury are always good ones. While I haven’t finished it yet, Unwind by Neal Shusterman is wonderful too.
Happy reading! :)

Good, I enjoyed them too, but they can be read in one sitting/day.

An Apprenticeship or The Book of Pleasures by Clarice Lispector is the closest book I have yet to find that evokes the same feelings as Normal People by Sally Rooney. I'd read the summary to see if you're interested in it at all, but what I loved about it was the fact that it almost felt like getting the women's (Marianne/Lori) internal dialogue. Other's may not agree with me, but I felt as though the two characters from the different novels drew many parallels and fought with similar internal struggles. Clarice Lispector is a wonderful author in general, and I'd recommend any given novel she has written. I remember reading on the back of this particular novel that someone asked her why her writing style seemed different than that of her other novels. She responded saying something along the lines of that she humanized herself, and the novel reflects it. Every so often I hit a line and think, damn, that hits hard. If you related to Marianne in any way, I definitely recommend you read it!
