for those who have read rina kent's books, do i need to read anything before legacy of gods or can i go straight into it?
idk i haven't read it yet
You can read Legacy of Gods first with no previous knowledge of the other books, but reading Royal Elite will give you more of an idea of most of the parents and the text threads throughout the books will make more sense!

I’ve only read the royal elite series by her and from what i know the legacy of gods series is about the children so i think u should read the parents’s books first to get an insight on the characters and it’s fun and i absolutely loved the royal elite series!!

I've only read Legacy of Gods so I feel uniquely qualified to comment on this 😂There are definitely references to her previous series (because her previous series are about the parents of the main characters in Legacy of Gods), but you don't have to read the other series first imo. I didn't really feel like I was missing anything, and it's easy to understand! The parents are def in each book in LoG, but these books are a complete diff storyline/plot/characters for the most part.
Enjoy!! Can't go wrong
I have read alllll of her books but I started out of sequence. Basically the Legacy of Gods is about the second generation of her characters (the children of her previous characters). When it comes to the stories you don’t need to read other series before starting Legacy of Gods. Previous books inform your story (make it funnier in my opinion) but are definitely not needed.
you can jump straight at it. no information is needed. rina will inform you of the parents but they'll hold no significance at all. every man is a psychopath and is utterly obsessed with his woman. that's it. every parent described.

As someone who has only read God of Malice, personally I didn’t feel anything missing or confused. But perhaps start from the beginning if you want more of a found family effect to the series ◡̈
I was only really interested in reading God of Fury and went into it having read none of the previous books and just watching some summaries online and was completely fine with it and didn't feel like i missed much at all. I have heard that if you binge the books that they can start to feel a bit repetitive though.

You don’t need to read any other books. Everything is understandable without the royal elite series. However, the royal elite series gives insight into the parents characters and dynamics. And honestly, the royal elite series is better than LOG

Personally i read and hated the first two books of the elite series Lmaoo so I didn’t continue that but I read the LOG series and the parents of the books don’t hold that much significance in the books and their history is explained with potential spoilers for their book, I think it would be funnier to see how the kids turned out and then seeing where they got their personalities from when u read their parents books. It makes the parents books more interesting to me lmao.

You can definitely directly read LOG but reading the books before that can give you a better understanding. Although according to the order its not just RES that should be read before it but also deception trilogy, throne duet and lies and truth duet since log has the kids of the mcs of these books. I've read LOG and i have read all the previous books except the thrones duet.
Personally i feel like first generation books were better so i'd say read it !
