Poll
As you know, the scary fall events are coming up very soon...just a little over a month away! I was thinking of doing a Stephen King read-along for Something Wicked Fall in September/October, and its companion event, the FrightFall Readathon in October. If you're interested, vote in the poll below.

That's too funny, Michele! 🤣

Don't feel bad. I still have some of his older books sitting on my shelf unread. I will get to them some day. I'm fine with any of these also, but Fairy Tale is compelling...and that gorgeous cover.
Looks like this poll is neck and neck! I'm not going to vote unless there's a tie and I will select my choice randomly.

Gotta say, Fairy Tale is outstanding! I haven’t loved a King book like that since reading Pet Sematary and The Shining but it is NOT horror. It’s fantasy, and the audiobook is stellar. Superb narration.

Good to know! My mom loves Stephen King, but really isn't a fantasy reader. She liked it though. I'm surprised she didn't mention it...but also I should have known too. lol

Honestly, I was a little unsure about trying it because I was not a fan of The Gunslinger. However, this is nothing like that. Plus I also love fairy tale retellings. I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this one!! Highly recommend the audiobook.
