one thing is that when her son was accused of sexual assault and the victim tried to contact her about it she just blocked the girl instead of adressing the situation. she also supports trump and her books contain lots of triggering and problematic aspects but she doesn’t like to use trigger warnings so she doesn’t care about hurting her readers even if the book contains for example domestic abuse. that’s just some i remember rn.

I never understood how colleen hover is so appreciated. I find her books very basic, the characters not that loveable, and her writing not that good...

SJM is a queen, she wrote the prequel of throne of glass at 16!! and it's still a must-read. Her style is complex, her characters are very developed and the worlds she created are fresh and new.

Plus, she wrote half of my book boyfriends.
