Oh I see I picked a book with two works when I meant to put up The Cloud of Unknowing. The only book we would be reading there if it won would be The Cloud of Unknowing. I've never head of The Book of Privy Counseling.

If you think I should correct that, let me know. It may require re-voting though, so I don't know if it's worth it.

Yes, Manny. I am reading a paperback copy of the "The Cloud of Unknowing" which is what I suggested. There is the other combined issue. I am not familiar with it either. I obtained my copy from our public library group--which is never generous with spiritual books.

I vote for The Cloud of the Unknowing, and humbly apologize for voting, reading yet not commenting on the last read.

I will mend my ways as I enjoy this club.

Amazon has gotten rid of many of the free public domain books. But with a back door through goodreads one can still access some. On the book page look for "other editions" and here the free Amazon version of a book may still be listed. That's what I did here. Click on the Kindle Store button to download. With more "obscure" titles such as this one you will still find the free version for download. With more popular titles those links are gone now. In that case I usually look if I can find it on Project Gutenberg.

That's the edition I own. I bought it years ago. I can finally read it.
