A very interesting collection of 4 novels from between 1793 and 1813 with the added Hawthorn as the token 'modern novel.'

It’s a good selection. It was hard for me to choose
Although I considered The Heroine, I'm deciding between the two frontrunners, both of which I would be happy to read with this group. The Monk has been on my TBR list but Belinda has a much larger number of the usual participants voting for it. I'll ponder my choice during this upcoming week.
