i definitely do! i only started reading graphic novels this year tho

If it has pages with some form of ink upon it's pages and is bound by a spine, it's a book. Just like we classify poetry with pictures or coffee table (books) as books, comics/graphic novels/manga are also books. <3

Usually, only the first volume because that way I acknowledge that I read it and I am not overloading my page with graphic novels.

If I'm reading something in book-ish form then it counts! So if I read an ad on a train, sure okay, that's not a riveting read, but if it has characters, plot and story, then TADA, hello and welcome to my goodreads list!

I include comics and manga in my shelves, but I don't put them in my reading challenge, only if they are self-contained comics/manga :)
