Decide on a category for the NOVEMBER 2022 group read!
Many of the categories that would work well as group reads naturally lent themselves to specific months, but we found ourselves left with NOVEMBER, and lots of great options for a category. Rather than just picking one ourselves, we thought it would be fun for the GROUP to decide.
Here's our thought process on why each of these categories could work well in November:
9. A book about a "found family" - because there are many family gatherings for holidays/holiday season
-OR-
24. A book you can read in one sitting - because Novellas in November is a thing! #NOVNOV
-OR-
27. A Hugo Award winner - because voting for the The Hugos in 2021 ended in November, winners were announced in December.
-OR-
30. A book with the name of a board game in the title - just because (maybe all those family gatherings involve BOARD GAMES!)
-OR-
34. A book set in Victorian times - just because...

ohhh I did not know about "Victober"!! But October will be "witches" which is also a perfect fit, so even if Lynn & I had known, we would probably still have witches in October.
