mine is organized by height and genre in a way. also i have the ugly spines or ones that just don’t match turned around

As someone who works in a library, by genre and then alphabetically by authors last name and then by title of the book...BUT keep the series together (in order). It bugs me immensely that series books are together haha.

organize them by genre and then organize each genre by colour, that way it will be easier to find the books you want and also have your books look pretty, that's what i did!
By author i would definitely organize mine by author and then colour or genre
By genre, then series then maybe color palette
I organize them, first by genre then by matching colors and similar heights and try to keep the same author together. Maybe I overcomplicate it :p
By genre and then alphabetically. Doesn’t look as pretty but it’s practical.

that series books aren't* together . sorry!
