Even if it isn’t chosen - In A Sunburned Country is my favorite of all of Bryson’s works. I highly recommend it as a read. It’s a great summer read as he visits Australia during their summer. A family member and I Buddy read it while they were stationed in Australia. The book holds true to the country and its people. ❤️🇦🇺

Thanks for the recommendation, Maggie. I don't think I've ever read any of Bryson’s work, so I'm not familiar with it. I will add that if you are looking for something funny, Louisiana Longshot was good. There's some slapstick type comedy in the series and I actually laughed out loud at times from some of the antics.
I didn't really find A Man Called Ove or Anxious People humorous, but I know people love his work. Oddly enough, those are probably my two least favorite books of his.
Please l can’t open the book to read. What should l do?
Please will l pay before l will get the access?

There is no book linked to open. This is just a poll to decide which book the group wants to read together. Everyone will need to find access to books on their own, either purchasing or through libraries, etc. We do not provide the books.
