     I'm up for the Decameron. I read it some years ago, so I could read it again. Beowulf I read it some months ago in Tolkien's translation. If this one wins I would only read the discussions. I could read Dickens too.

      Poll Results and the next TWO readsWe will reading Beowulf first and The Decameron next.
After a brief discussion with regard to moderator availability as well as the apparent popularity of both works by votes and comments, the moderators hope that reading both books with a slight change in order is acceptable to everyone.
We hope you will join us in reading Beowulf first, followed by the usual two week interim read and then The Decameron. The Beowulf translation discussion may begin as soon as next week to help members decide on which editions to obtain and the discussion of the work itself will start on June 2nd.

 I don't remember which translation I did read. But I'm pretty sure that it was one of Abril Cultural, the ones with red covers, hardcover. I don't know many translations so I am not able to judge which one is better, I will read this https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... edition.
