Poll
Polling for group-read topics for March-April. Please write in your ideas. Usually, top two topics get a spotlight.
Appendix N: The Eldritch Roots of Dungeons and Dragons had a postponed release to late Feb, but was supposed to an Anthology Read topic. Why not give it focus in March?
Bard, or the series, by Keith John Taylor has been suggested a few times. Ebook are available now, I think.
Sorcery Against Caesar: The Complete Simon of Gitta Short Stories, Richard L. Tierney's Simon of Gitta is accessible now. Up for weird adventure, anyone?

Voting for Appendix N because that was going to be my anthology pick, but I expect I won't be starting it until mid-to-late February after I finish the giant multivolume fantasy epic I'm currently ensconced in.
My 'to read' piles are teetering, so I really shouldn't add anything for a group read. As it happens, I am reading something that got me into the genre. That is, Conan and the Flaming Knife was the first collection of Conan-stories I had. Soon after, I also read the King Kull pocket book of the time. I'm now (re-)reading the Del Rey, and get more out of it than I did then! Another one that sold me on the genre - Tanith Lee's "Kill the Dead" (which I will maintain inspired The Witcher); might be one for a future group read?

Great idea about ""Kill the Dead"...remind us if it doesn't emerge sometime.

I'm all for Appendix N, but is there going to be no other option than paperback? Or is the publisher just holding off on releasing the ebook until closer to the release date, as they do?
Empress of Dreams just came out, Tanith Lee fans. I think Richard is reading it. Feels like Tanith Lee is haunting us....

And nostalgia, what got us into this genre is always good!
