I mean it’s your decision! I still wanted to read Fablehaven at some point and I think the reason it isn’t going as planned is because everyone is focused on CYOA challenge. I personally don’t have an issue either way. I will still like to read Fablehaven but if no one wants it and no one reads it, then feel free to change it.

So basically, if there was a “Other” option, I would vote for that one.

i would've participated in fablehaven, but none of the apps or resources i use to read had it so no fablehaven for me🤷🏻‍♀️

@Ilsen hmm that’s a good point! A lot of people are occupied with the CYOA challenge so that could explain it.
I just noticed that with the Lockwood readathon everyone was so enthusiastic about even from the beginning but it seems with this one everyone voted for it because they’d already read it or something🤔 and I know some people like Jessica can’t access the books and then others have tried reading it and don’t like the series so maybe a change now would be better than ploughing through for the next 3 months when no one wants to!
Me personally I’m not fussed if we continue the Fablehaven readathon I’ll get round to starting to read it but it’s no secret that I wanted to read the Blackthorn Key series as a readathon from the very beginning of the first discussion we all had about it

I'm about to start book 4 of Fablehaven. I also have Blackthorn Key, which I'm excited to start as well.

Yea I do think it’s not as popular as Lockwood and Co. And that happens in polls sometimes. A book is picked just by the people who think is good, not in terms of reading it for themselves. I also have Blackthorn Key on my TBR so I wouldn’t mind changing it if it’s more accessible. I’ll probably try to read Fablehaven on my own XD

@Ilsen darn I hate it when the polls are misleading! Plus it’s not always an accurate representation of everyone’s opinion because some people don’t seem to see poll invites at all (goodreads has problems😩). That’s why I love it when people respond with their thoughts in the comments because it’s easier to decide what to do then and I’m hosting events for you guys not for me so I want to know what you all want. That’s why I love all my constant responders you guys are the best!!❤️
I think I’ll wait another day and see what other people think and then I’ll decide what to do...

Yea Goodreads has some issues but I still like the polls. But yea, whatever you want. I knew you wanted to read Blackthorn Key and honestly it sounds really cool! I’m fine with either but I think it’s better to change it if there’s no engagement.

You can keep Fablehaven open as a buddy read and start Blackthorn anyway.

@Ilsen goodreads is flawed yeah BUT I STILL LOVE IT ANYWAY!! Where else would I meet all you amazing people and discuss books? Nowhere! This is the best platform for book discussions despite its issues!

@Dee I guess I should’ve put a 3rd option😂 I’m glad you’re enjoying Fablehaven! Hopefully you’ll enjoy Blackthorn Key just as much! I’m really looking forward to reading it! And even though I haven’t started Fablehaven myself I do think I’ll read it sometime before the end of this year, maybe even next month! It’s been on my TBR for way too long anyway

I'm much more interested in reading Blackthorn Key than I was Fablehaven. So I'd love to start that readathon!
