I’d say reading (it’s the first method to become a thinker and communicator, whether you write or talk) and writing, of course, whenever I have a chance. Working in advertising has enabled me to train my creative muscle. I still do not consider myself a very good writer but I hope to become one. :)

Reality exposed in a metaphorical way works better to improve writing. Some people say lot of reading helps,but for me lot of writing helps and indeed lot of editing assists too. 'Edit your own work'- is the best method I believe.
