Would you like to change the name of the group? We all have different goals so "75 Books" is not as accurate as it used to be and some members have expressed interest in changing the name. Please give suggestions in the comments!!

I agree it feels a little odd when we've all got our own goals, but I think it would also feel odd to change the name. Maybe just something like, "75 Books... More or Less."

Thank you! Merry Christmas to all those who celebrate!
We are such a varied group of readers that I think it would be find a new name to capture "such excellent and admirable" readers....anyway, I don't do well with change. ;)

I will go with the majority as I didn't reach 75 books this year as I think I was in a muddle with some books lol.

75 Books and More! (or Less)
That way we keep the first part of the name so it's easy for current and past members to find us. "And More" acknowledges all the great things Andrea and Elyse are doing, like readathons, new challenges, reading Harry Potter, Stephen King, etc. And then "or less" shows the flexibility in the goal - I've set a goal smaller than 75 Books a couple of years and still felt very welcome. :-)
I enjoy this group so much "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet" but the name as long as I can find the group does not matter. Thanks for inspiring me with great book suggestions. Happy New Year!
I like the idea of “75 books, more or less” because it acknowledges the history of the group while more accurately describing the way the group actually works. It’s not the number that’s important, and it’s not an external bar that has been set.
What about keeping the 75 part so people know it is the same group, but adding something at the end so it broadens or expands it, such as 75 Books That... [enrich your life] for example.
If you haven't already noticed, we've become "75 Books...More or Less!" Thank you for your input! And thank you Charleen for the alteration!
