A lot of libraries are able to order books through Interlibrary Loan (ILL), so that may be an option for many. I just submitted a request through my university library that way. It can take a little longer though, depending on where it's coming from, but I would much rather a delay than to have to order and pay for a copy through a bookstore or online.
