OK, I'll suggest film novelizations -- I'm mostly thinking of 80s fantasy stuff (Clash of the Titans, e.g., or Dragonslayer, but there are plenty of other options out there, including but not limited to Conan the Barbarian, of course.

Not for this one, but i suggest as a future group read we choose among a few anthologies, not to read them but to then read any of the authors appearing therein. Example: we vote and choose Flashing Swords! #1, then readers choose to read either Carter, Leiber, Vance, or Anderson.

Not a bad idea, actually. Besides all the Conan movie novelizations, I have some others as well; The Sword and the Sorcerer, Clash of the Titans, The Scorpion King, Solomon Kane...
