Oh i've read all these. Darn. So I can't vote for any of them. But everyone should read On The Road though. I recommend On the Road: the Original Scroll and afterwards read Visions of Cody Well read everything by Jack Kerouac. You'll love it - I know I did.

I read On the Road in the last year. Not a huge fan. I had to put it down for a while, and I seemed to enjoy it more when I picked it back up. It's one of those classics that everyone should read, but it's not one I will reread so I'm hoping one of the others will win.

Hmm, I've read On The Road and it was a struggle. Was never into Tarzan, so I am going for In Patagonia !
