Just had a thought - I might've voted for Garm Bel Iblis had he been on the list! After all, he was a key signatory to the Corellian Treaty:

"... an accord that created the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Signed by the leaders of anti-Imperial resistance groups on Alderaan, Corellia, and Chandrila, the treaty formally declared war on the Empire."

Cheers! Unfortunately I'd already voted for Leia by the time Bel Iblis occurred to me, and it wouldn't have been fair to vote twice. (And, TBH, I think I'd still go with Leia in any case - I just thought that subsequent voters might see Garm's name and be reminded of him, and maybe vote for him).
