I'm voting for Emperor's Knife, although has anyone confirmed the author is female? The author has made a huge point of not revealing gender, but some articles give masculine pronoun.

I don't know, I was so sure she was definitely female, but I can't find anything to say either way.

I won't vote for an author whose gender we're not sure of since female author is our theme and if his book wins, well, that defies the purpose.

Thanks Silvana, I was scouring the internet for ages trying to find anything. I totally agree with you, the whole point was to have female only authors. I'll remove it from the choices as soon as I can get to my laptop (its very awkward to do on my phone). Apologies everyone, it was my choice!

I'm positive it is a collaboration male/female does that still count.

I'm glad you did! Like Silvana said the whole point was to have female only noms, so if there was even a slight chance my nomination did not fit the criteria, I'd like to know about it.

I blogged about it, so now I feel better about the whole fiasco!

Wow, looks like the Kameron Hurley votes are getting split evenly, putting her tied for next to last place (with herself). Combined votes would put her one off the lead, as of this post.
