Kairia How often do ties occur? This is the first one I've been apart of the group for.

Kaylee Wow, that's very close! (33 to 35 as I'm writing this.)

Rachael Do we get to read both if that's the case? (36-35 right now!)

Louise V infrequently. Last time we had to do a runoff poll was in September, before the membership got so large.

If it ties again I will flip a coin for which one to read in May and automatically put the other down as our first bi-monthly non-fiction read (running between Read Around the World) which I'll be starting up in July.

Kairia Oh my goodness, they're tied again. This is so exciting!

I know. Right?

Karin Wow, one book won by ONE vote! Such a split. I've already read the Maya Angelou one twice, (once when I was in high school, once a few years ago), so am happy to be reading the one I have never read.

Kairia I just read I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings this year for the first time so I am perfectly content with Hidden Figures winning.
