Poll

There are some options when creating a poll like whether the results are hidden until the end and whether individual voter's names appear in the sidebar. I thought I would ask which style the group prefers. My own preference is hidden and anonymous because it keeps people from just selecting the most popular and lets those who might be too shy to vote for a particular book participate. But I bow to the will of the masses. Let me know your opinions.

I don't care too much whether voters are identified, but I like seeing results simply because I forget who I voted for frequently. And with the write in option, it's nice to see if someone added something awesome later that you hadn't thought of when you voted.

Interesting options that the polls give you. Although I was so anxious to see what this last month's result was, I think hidden results makes it more exciting. It also makes if feel like your vote really matters, because you don't know if it's an even split or a landslide.

I prefer the results visible because that way if there is a tie or a close call between the top 2 I can change my vote and give the one I like better a boost. If I like them at all.
