I would like to see the group select and read two Books of the Month - one with gay protagonists and one LBTQ book. (The group has a heavier weighting to members whose main interest is in M/M pairings, which has skewed past BotM toward gay stories. This would be one way to be sure of more inclusive monthly reading. It would also give participants a choice, and might make it easier to obtain at least one book.)

I would prefer a Buddy Read folder --> with a BR system, any member can choose a book they would like to read or re-read, and post a thread inviting others to join in. Typically a starting date is selected by the participants, who then read the book and check in with comments (spoiler tagged as needed) and discussion - multiple books could be under discussion or being read at the same time, on separate Buddy Read threads.

I would be interested in having the group resume voting for, reading and discussing, a single group-selected Book of the Month (see the Book of the Month folder on the group for past examples from 2014 )

I like reading challenges - possibly Pick-It-For-Me eg. a folder where members might be paired up to suggest a book for each other, as a way to broaden horizons and encourage others to share a favorite read.
Or a game-type challenge eg. pick and read three books set in countries other than the US.

I would prefer to have the group return to voting for an Author of the Month, and then reading from, and discussing, any story or stories in the body of work by that author. (See the Author of the Month folder for examples from 2015 )
