Funny enough, I recently finished 'The Last Wish'. I thought I'd give one of the Witcher books a try since I'm a fan of the PC games. I'm not sure if it's a poor translation, but I found the dialogue very poor. The prose itself was pretty good, but that dialogue...

I liked The Last Wish (but the problem is that I just read it for this bi-monthly read). No big problem with the dialogue, some was better than others I guess. I also read The King of Elfland's Daughter recently too. Though I wouldn't mind perhaps reading another Dunsany. That said, I cast my vote for Saunders.
