"Panther in the Sky" by James Alexander Thom is an excellent work of historical fiction. I have read it twice. It captures the Algonquian culture better than any book I have read and delineates precisely the causes of Native American/white settlers' conflict.

Panther in the Sky looks like a great read - just ordered a copy now! Native America is not an era I've explored before, so looking forward to a new experience!

Neither interests me, particularly, but I'll give Time of the Wolf a shot. At least the library has it.

Neither blows me away. Guess I would prefer Panther in the Sky.

I ended up reading both books. Quite good.
